SNAPDRAGON DISPLAY TRIAGE TOOL - SDTT

You are about to install and run the Snapdragon Display Triage Tool which is used for issues triage/debug allowing Qualcomm customers to easily troubleshoot them.


REQUIREMENTS
-------------------------------------
This is a Java based application that uses Android Debug Bridge (adb) commands as well as Python utilities from the Android SDK. Therefore, to run the tool properly, one must install:

  * JDK 8 – version 1.8.0_66 or higher.
  * Android SDK - with Android SDK Tools 20 or later
  * Python - version 2.7

All these dependencies must be installed as well as in the PATH environment variable.


INSTALLATION
-------------------------------------
Once the requirements from the previous section are met, you will be able to install/run the tool.

Mac
=====================================
Open the terminal and just run the jar file:
java -jar <sdtt_application_files_dir>/snapdragon_display_triage_tool.jar

Linux
=====================================
Run the snapdragon_display_triage_tool.deb installer and follow the instructions. After the installation is complete, search and run the Snapdragon Display Triage Tool file.
 
Windows
=====================================
Run the sdtt-installer.exe installer and follow the instructions.
